Ice Guardian is the king of the Land of Ice in The Adventures of SharkBoy and LavaGirl.
Appearance[]
The Ice Guardian is made entirely of semi-transparent ice blocks and is over twice the height of the humanoid characters around him.
Unlike the other creatures like him, he seems to have a crown made of ice on his head. It is blocky in nature with ice spikes surrounding the perimeter and on each corner.
Personality[]
The Ice Guardian is rather protective and curt. Seemingly taking after Mr. Electricidad's fatherly side, the Guardian protects his daughter the princess so intensely that she can never leave the Land of Ice. While guarding his daughter, he also guards the Land of Ice.
History[]
Background[]
The Ice Guardian is not shown to have any background. All that's implied of the past is that he's protective of Ice Princess.
Plot[]
Ice Guardian is the one who prevents Ice Princess from leaving the castle to help the main group on their quest, despite it being for the benefit of Planet Drool. After Max picks the correct Crystal Heart, he makes Max swear an oath to protect it under the condition that Ice Princess stays in the Land of Ice.
While he said the Crystal Heart would work for Max after agreeing to the oath, the Crystal couldn't work.
Relationships[]
Ice Princess[]
As her father, Ice Guardian is protective of Ice Princess. As a result he wants her in the Ice Castle at all times. She seems to have respect for his wishes but has also noted that he "smothers" her and reminds him when he crosses the line.
Trivia[]
- Despite being her father, Ice Princess shows no physical resemblance to the Ice Guardian.
